Students from across the state attend this residential school in Vancouver, Washington. The art on view showcases high school and middle school work. Often, people are surprised that blind people have any interest in producing visual art! Visitors to this exhibition will understand that this is a misperception; many students at this school see with their hands. Come and be surprised by the wonderful art these students have created mediums including clay, papier-mâché, paint, paper, wire, and glass. The artwork is not only meant to be viewed but also explored through touch. TAM Local is in the Cheney Classroom on the top floor.
