“A Fiddler’s Feast” brings two acclaimed duos together. Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas, along with Jay Ungar and Molly Mason deliver everything from Scottish dance music to a wide range of American roots genres, and tunes ranging from poignant to sizzling.
Alasdair Fraser has been called “the Michael Jordon of Scottish fiddling” by the San Francisco Examiner. His concert and recording career spans 30 years, with a long list of awards, accolades, television credits, and performances on movie soundtracks (Last of the Mohicans, Titanic). Cellist Natalie Haas, a graduate of Juilliard School of Music, has helped Fraser return the cello to its historical role at the rhythmic heart of Scottish dance music.
